Jit Murad's One Load Of BullJit @ PJLA Theater, Jaya One

I caught Jit Murad's 1 Load of BullJit last night at PJLA Theater, Jaya One.

Last night's show was a charity event where all the proceeds will go to Nur Salam Children’s Home.

Rudy from hitz.FM did the opening act. This as he said was his first stand-up show and he did well.

Jit's performance was great, a real funny man who kept me awake and in laughter throughout the night with his stories and jokes. He shared current events in Malaysia such as 1Malaysia, as well as stories from his childhood and schooldays.

At the end, the audiences gave him a standing ovation. The show ended around 11:30pm, late but it was worth it. Great job Jit.

For those who are going to watch the show this week, watch out for the One.

More inform on the PJLA website.

Some write up on Jit in the New Straits Times.

Couldn't the cops just shoot him in the leg to incapacitate him.

Youth who turned his knife on cops shot dead

Sunday November 15, 2009

ARAU: A youth walked into a police station brandishing a vegetable knife and declared that he was going to kill a friend.

Policemen, although taken aback, took no chances — two of them tailed Muhammad Taufik Noorzan on foot as he walked 2km to his village in Guar Sanji near here.

Upon reaching the village, the 21-year-old immediately started shouting that he would kill villagers and anyone that passed his way.

By then, more policemen had arrived and they spent the next 90 minutes trying to persuade the very agitated Muhammad Taufik to calm down and surrender his knife.

However, he became even more aggressive and caused a commotion when he started to chase villagers with the knife in his hand.

A policeman fired a shot into the air to try to stop Muhammad Taufik but he then turned his attention on the law enforcers.

One of the policemen then opened fire on the youth, hitting him in the chest....

Lunch @ Station Ninety Eight, Jaya One

Yesterday after church, my family and I had lunch at Station 98 in Jaya One. It is located at Block D, Unit 15, Level LG1.

The entrance is via the LG1 car park, next to Kechara Oasis New Age Vegetarian Restaurant,

We had the Nasi lemak Fried Chicken, Nasi Lemak Rendang Chicken, Wat Tan Hor, and dessert Sweet Potato balls and hot Bubur Cha Cha.

The food was nice and dessert nicer :-) We recommend the desserts.

Total price "kopitiam price" was RM38, with water and chinese tea.

I Missed The Ascend Concert

I did not get to attend the Ascend concert on Saturday evening, cause I got caught in the KL-Seremban highway crawl in the evening.

Left Kajang after my daughter's pre-school concert and an early dinner at Kajang KFC. After the UPM/Serdang interchange on the PLUS highway, I got caught in the traffic jam and there was no way to turn off the highway.

It did not hit me to what had caused the jam. Was it because of the rain or an accident? Than I saw cars with Negri Sembilan flags on them. Arrrr, it was the Malaysia Cup 2009 finals between Negri Sembilan and Kelantan.

It took me over an hour and a half to reach the Sungai Besi toll. And even after the toll, as far as my eyes could see, the jam continued. We were just inching our way along the highway. PLUS open the divider after the TnG lanes to allow vehicles to make a U-turn. I decided to make a turn back as I will not be able to reach PJ for the concert.

On the way back, I turned off at the UPM/Serdang toll. The jam on the KL-Seremban highway also affected the toll here. :-(

Well, I could still worship on Sunday with the FOCIM Worship Team. Cheers!

Btw Negri Sembilan won the Malaysia Cup 2009 final against Kelantan. The score 3-1.

Location: PJLA Theater @ Jaya One

"It came even to pass, as the trumpeters and singers were as one, to make one sound to be heard in praising and thanking the LORD; and when they lifted up their voice with the trumpets and cymbals and instruments of music, and praised the LORD, saying, For he is good; for his mercy endureth forever: that then the house was filled with a cloud, even the house of the LORD; So that the priests could not stand to minister by reason of the cloud: for the glory of the LORD had filled the house of God."
2 Chron 5:13-14

The Fullness of Christ International Ministries (FOCIM) Worship Team from the Philippines plays a vital role in the mandate given by God to the Church in equipping godly men and women as nation transformers by leading them into an atmosphere of worship and intimacy. It aims to touch the heart of God through Davidic and contemporary praise and worship. With its objective of humbly serving Him in the spirit of excellence as ministers of music and dance, the Team has participated in several local and international Worship conferences such as Touching Heaven Changing Earth in 2005 and 2007 and the Cindy Jacobs Conference in 2009. The Team is moving in great waves and it is in seeing the congregation connect with God that makes it all worth it.

This year, the Team’s calling takes them to another level as they are slated to hold a Worship Concert entitled Ascend—there is no other way but UP at the Latter Rain Church in Jaya One. Set on November 7th, this special one-night concert will showcase the team singing to popular contemporary Christian songs such as “Hail to the King”, “Hosanna” and “Your Love is Beautiful” and classics such as “To God be the Glory.” This event will be an opportunity to offer our praises, our thanksgiving and our nation as we exalt His name. Come and be blessed at the biggest concert to close 2009!
