I was having problems with my Sony Ericsson K800i. It kept showing 'Emergency Call Only'. I could not receive nor call out. I had to switch off and on, and than the normal network could be found.I thought it could be the phone problem. Did reset the phone but after a day it started again.
This week after checking online forums regarding this problem, I tried one solution, that was to deactivate the 3G settings.
. Goto Settings
. Under the Connectivity tab, choose Mobile networks.
. Choose GSM/3G networks
. Select GSM only.
There... solved. So far so good :-D
