You Tube: Here In Your Presence (New Life Worship)

Wonderful, beautiful, glorious, matchless in every way

Verse:
Found in your hands, fullness of joy
Every fear suddenly wiped a-way here in you presence
All of my gains now fade away
Every crown no longer on dis-play, here in your presence
Heaven is trembling in awe of your wonders
The kings and their kingdoms are standing amazed

Chorus:
Here in your presence, we are undone
Here in your presence, heaven and earth become one
Here in your presence, all things are new
Here in your presence, everything bows before you

Bridge:
Wonderful, beautiful, glorious, matchless in every way

Maths And Science In Bahasa Malaysia

It is Bahasa again but more emphasis will be placed on learning English

PUTRAJAYA: The Government has decided to reverse the Teaching of Mathematics and Science in English policy and revert to Bahasa Malaysia in national schools and Chinese and Tamil in vernacular schools.

More emphasis would also be placed on English, including the hiring of retired teachers, assistant teachers for bigger classes and having additional periods.

Deputy Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin said this meant that from 2012, students in Years One and Four and Forms One and Four in national primary and secondary schools would study the two subjects in Bahasa Malaysia while those in vernacular schools would be taught in their mother tongue (Chinese and Tamil).

4 July 2009: 88 Fish Head Seafood Restaurant

Dinner with the family last Saturday in Sungai Long at the recently opened 88 Fish Head Seafood Restaurant.

The food was good in particularly the vegetable soup and tauhu. The steam fish was a bit sweet.

I would patron this restaurant again, but not order the steam fish.

You can see the restaurant from the bus stop in front of UTAR Sungai Long.

The Star Online: Shocking Truth Behind Govt Run Shelter

I felt disgusted with the authorities when I read this news on Sunday A govt-run shelter for the disabled has, instead, become their jail. Some residents were caged up, chained and covered in their faeces and urine.

A govt-run shelter for the disabled has, instead, become their jail

KUALA KUBU BARU: About 30 men, naked, some chained up, caged and covered in their faeces and urine – that is the scene inside locked rooms at the Taman Sinar Harapan home here.

Following a public tip-off via an email from London, The Star’s probe team went undercover to the government-run shelter that is tucked away behind the Kuala Kubu Baru Hospital and next to a golf course.

The home has about 200 residents comprising men, women and children, some of whom are mentally disabled and infirmed.

What goes on within the four walls is shocking, and visits to individual rooms reveal even more horror – residents, young and old, naked and confined in cages.

5 July 2009: Movie - Dance Subaru

Marilyn and Ashley watched the movie Dance Subaru at Berjaya Times Square after church. They went with dance/ballet teacher Ms Loo.

Good movie to watch if you are interested in dance and ballet, and some drama added in.

Synopsis:
Subaru and her twin brother Kazuma share a dream in becoming ballet dancers, but after Kazuma’s death from a hereditary illness, dancing became Subaru’s only happiness and she yearns to lose herself in dance. Her life takes a dramatic turn when she runs into cabaret owner Isuzu, who recognizes the talent in Subaru and trains her in her nightspot. But to become a professional ballerina, Subaru has to overcome harsher challenges than merely satisfying the cabaret drunkards. Spurred on by her rivals, Subaru enters an international dance competition, to vie for recognition and a scholarship to any top ballet company in the world.
