Lunch @ Tram Car Again

This time I ordered the set lunch (RM14.90++), sweet and sour fish with rice at the Tram Car Restaurant, in 3 Two Square.

The set includes a bun (with butter), soup of the day (Spinach cream soup), the main dish, a dessert and coffee/tea. Price including tax RM16.90.

*Photo taken with Sony Ericson's K800i.

The sweet fish taste much better than that served at Home Delight restaurant.

It is worth the price, which includes the soup and dessert.

Tired @ Work

After last nights music rehearsal, a few of us went to Kanna for supper and some fellowshipping. Thanks Andrew for supper. We we forced to leave at 11pm, cause the restaurant closes at 11pm. I reached home around 11:40pm.

After bathing I had to do some personal paper work and copy some files for Rebecca to my thumb drive. Slept around 1am.

I was awoken from my slumber at 3am. Someone's car alarm went off at the basement parking. It went on and on and on, like the Energizer battery man. Manage to doze up an hour later. Grrrrrrrrr. Yup, I am usually a light sleeper... nope not sleeping with the lights on.

Woke up at 5:30am, my usual wake up time to prepare for work.

When I went to my car this morning, I passed the "culprit" car... the hazards lights we blinking, but there was no more alarm sound. Guess the car got fed up calling its owner. :-P

So today is a yawnie and sleepie day for me at work (:|

Cheers!

Sunday's Lunch @ Restoran Yi Kee (27.7.2008)

On the way back home from Church last Sunday, the family and I stopped by in Restoran Yi Kee in Taman Connaught for lunch. We ordered roast duck, char siew and siew yoke.

Stop....!!! Before you start drooling...

The siew yoke's skin was tough. The roast duck was soggy and not so tasty. They served the dish with white rice. The sweet sauce was the saviour here, it gave taste to the duck.

I would not recommend this place for roast duck.

While the leak of sodomy complainant Mohd Saiful Bukhari Azlan’s medical report is ‘regrettable’, the report’s contents are admissible evidence in court regardless of how they were exposed, said a senior counsel today.

"The courts have always taken the position that evidence that is relevant is admissible even though it has been wrongly exposed," Sulaiman Abdullah, one of the lawyers representing PKR leader Anwar Ibrahim told reporters in Petaling Jaya.

"The situation now is that everybody knows about this medical report and while an invasion of doctor-patient confidentiality has occurred, it’s regrettable, but you cannot run away from the fact that it’s now very clear that there is no sodomy involved," he stressed.

The branches also took deputy inspector-general of police (DIGP) Ismail Omar to task for stating that media reports on the doctor’s findings were aimed at confusing the people.

"Such statements by the DIGP only serve to further the perception that the police is pulling out all the stops to withhold evidence crucial to prove Anwar’s innocence while at the same time fabricate or attempt to fabricate evidence against a fellow citizen of our country."

RECENTLY, I observed a couple at a restaurant and noticed that while the girl was patiently waiting at the table, the guy had his camera out, trying to get the perfect angle to snap a picture of the food on the table.

Pretty soon, the bright light of the flash filled the restaurant as he started capturing his meal for posterity and I looked on, intrigued, until the guy, in his mid-20s, finally put his camera down and pecked his girlfriend on the cheek.

I giggled silently and thought to myself, “Must be a blogger!”...

My colleagues and I received an employee survey by management last week.

To tell you the truth, the the survey results will be 'unfavorable' to management.

Lunch @ Nasi Kandar Zulkifli: Maggi Goreng

Clock In/Out: 9/10 on-time leaving

My company has a software that tracks the time we arrive/leave after work as well as time we leave/return from lunch.

My admin colleague just informed me that based on my last weeks time in/out, the big boss wrote "9/10 on-time leaving" (9 our of 10), cause based on the time I clock out I would leave the office on time (or slightly over time).

I will aim next week to better this record to... "10/10 on-time leaving". :-D I will treat myself to teh tarik.

Most of my colleagues feel like we are in school. I remember school was not so strict.

Work time is between 8am - 5pm. If you are late, you will be marked. And later a warning letter will be issued... Doh!!! No flexibility.

Tapaued 2 packs of cendol for Rachel and Andrew too, since I know they will be around early to fiddle with the sound system.

Did not know Elijah was there too, but he is on diet, so no cendol for him :-D

It was Andrew's first cendol since he came to our shores nearly 2 decades ago. Lets celebrate this historical event with another bowl of cendol. Cheers!

What Screen Colour If Window Crashes?

I have seen Windows crash with blue screen, but have you seen one with green and a different shade of blue?

It has happened to my notebook a couple of times, and no I did not purposely make the screen colour like it is. Btw, I am using Windows XP.

Lunch @ Tram Car Restaurant Part 2

This time round, I went with my colleagues. I did not order the set lunch but had nasi lemak which was served with redang ayam and acah. The nasi lemak was good.

This lunch has overwritten my comment (first visit) on the food in my previous blog Lunch @Tram Car Restaurant. So it seems that the local dishes here are good.

My colleague had the sweet sour rice and another the cantonese noodle, both gave good comments.

Guess what, Tram Car Restaurant is run by one of the owners of the previous Cable Car Restaurant in Jaya (Jaya is closed, to be demolised and a new building to be rebuilt). Now I have to find the other half of the original Cable Car Restaurant.

Nasi lemak - cost RM11.45 + tax + a glass of water (50 cents)

Avoid KL Today: Planned Protest @ Parliament

Traffic report on Federal highway towards KL, jam due to police roadblock at Kota Darul Ehsan, near UH all the way as my eyes can see from Amcorp mall.

My colleagues are all complaining about the traffic congestion today. Normal days the traffic jams are bad, and today with the police road blocks the situation is made worst, even to a standstill. So today we can thank the police for contributing to the traffic standstill.

Sorry my picture is not clear. Taken at the traffic light intersection from Federal highway / Amcorp Mall @ 6:35am.
