3 Two Square Nasi Lemak

I had breakfast this morning at 3 Two Square food court (LG1 carpark). Second time in a row this week. I joined Silas and Rachel yesterday when they came to try the nasi lemak.

I arrived at the food court before 7:30 AM this morning, and was surprised that the nasi lemak bungkus was all packed and ready. Normally I had to wait until after 7:30AM.

The 'kak' said she does not want to let her customers wait for the nasi lemak, that is why they prepared it earlier today.
I informed the 'kak', based on comments I received yesterday, about adding more ikan bilis and kacang. She said if they did that, she would have to increase the price of the nasi lemak from RM1 to RM1.50, based on her reason that 1KG of ikan bilis now cost RM24.

Shoddy Work By Contractors In Bandar Mahkota Cheras

Contractors who resurfaced roads in the vicinity of Bandar Mahkota Cheras and Bandar Sungai Long, are doing a shoddy job, with potholes and uneven roads even after the roaqds are resurfaced.

The roads are also dusty and sliperry due to the dirt left on the road.

There are no indication that the roadwork is not completely done, until you reach the area, by than it is already too late.

From The Star online... Pothole causes meat seller serious injuries

Satay Celup Has Arrived In Kajang

We found this Satay Celup restaurant in Kajang, Restaurant Old Home Town, which is located behind Kajang Convent school, near Crystal Hotel, and behind CIMB Bank.

We had the buffet, eat as much as you can until you get 'jelak'. Price per person RM12.90. If I am not mistaken, one stick cost RM1.20.

As Marilyn said, it is ok larrrrr. The peanut sauce could be much better, it is a bit watery. The food on the sticks does not look as fresh. Melakan (in Melaka) Satay Celup is much much better.

We must make another trip down to Melaka to get the real original Satau Celup.

Look inside the camera

I am speechless...

Police keep video camera for 'investigation'
http://www.malaysiakini.com/news/92883
The video camera, which was seized from a Malaysiakini journalist at a candlelight vigil on Sunday, will not be returned to the online news website until the police have completed their investigations.
...
This was despite that the police were told that they need not keep the camera as the tape should be sufficient enough for their investigation.

However, the police said they have to take a “look inside the camera”.

What I learn today: DI unit

From Wikipedia... DI Unit

A DI unit, DI box, Direct Box or simply DI is an electronic device that connects a high impedance line level signal that has an unbalanced output to a low impedance mic level balanced input, usually via XLR connector. DIs are frequently used to connect an electric guitar or electric bass to a mixing console's microphone input. The DI performs level matching, balancing, and either active buffering or passive impedance bridging to minimise noise, distortion, and ground loops. DIs do not perform impedance matching.

DI (pronounced dee EYE) is variously claimed to stand for direct input, direct injection or direct interface. DIs are extensively used with professional and semi-professional PA systems and in sound recording studios.
