Lunch @ O&S, Paramount, PJ
My colleagues and I went to O&S Restaurant in Paramount PJ last Friday for lunch.
I ordered a small Wan Ton Mee and it was really small. Cost RM4, but it was delicious. A small plate or bowl of noodle use to cost RM3.50-3.80 last year.

I had to buy Pisang Goreng after eating the noodle.

Lunch @ Boston
One of the restaurants my colleagues and I usually eat at for lunch (not everyday) is at Boston.

They now offer set lunch at RM7.90++ for any one of the 8 dished advertised + drink (milk tea, coffee or ying yong) and a scoop of ice cream. Add RM2 to replace the drink with ice honey lemon, ice lemon tea, honeydew juice, apple juice or carrot juice. Price is cheaper compared to if you ordered the ala carte.

I have already tried 3 of the corn rice dishes; sweet & sour chicken, dry-fried beef tenderloin (spicy) and grilled chicken fillet. It really fills your stomach. The only complain I have is that the dish is a bit dry, not enough gravy.
The service at the 3 Two Square outlet needs to be improved too. There are times they gave us the wrong order, other times the dish comes late, very late. They need to be reminded all the time.

Lunch @ Station Ninety Eight, Jaya One
Yesterday after church, my family and I had lunch at Station 98 in Jaya One. It is located at Block D, Unit 15, Level LG1.
The entrance is via the LG1 car park, next to Kechara Oasis New Age Vegetarian Restaurant,

We had the Nasi lemak Fried Chicken, Nasi Lemak Rendang Chicken, Wat Tan Hor, and dessert Sweet Potato balls and hot Bubur Cha Cha.
The food was nice and dessert nicer :-) We recommend the desserts.
Total price "kopitiam price" was RM38, with water and chinese tea.

Lunch @ Hailam Kopitiam, 3 Two Square
Hailam Kopitiam opened its doors today at 3 Two Square, PJ. My colleagues and I went there today for lunch. There is a 10% discount for the opening and it was crowded.

I ordered the Chicken Chop with black pepper sauce and kopi peng. I like the taste of the chicken chop and the coffee, to me it is better than Old Town's.
Since it is the start of business, the service was not good.
There was one order for eight of us. But the food came one at a time. Yes, one food dish, one drink, one food etc etc you get the idea. Other customers who came in later, got their food earlier than us. After much complain to the waiters, waitresses and the 'bosses', out food finally came, one at a time, over a period of 1 hour. :-(
They need time to settle down and get themselves organized. Don't take too long, or not your customers will move on.
Its my first time patronizing Hailam kopitiam. I would usually go to Old Town Kopitiam as they are everywhere.
Now there are 3 kopitiams here in 3 Two Square, Old Town, Pappa Rich and Hailam. More choices for us.
There is no picture of the food, I just dug in when my food came. I was so hungry.

Last Sunday my family and I made our way to Sepang for an official trip, after which we headed to Tanjung Sepat for dinner.

Lunch: Fei Por Curry Mee Restaurant, Taman Connaught
Last Sunday's lunch after church. We had noodles in Taman Connaught on the way home, before our trip to Sepang.
Fei Por Curry Mee is located in Taman Connaught. If you are driving on the East-West link towards Kajang, it is on the left hand side just before the BHP Petrol station.
This restaurant was recommended by brother CK and Silas.

Ashley ate the fish paste noodle...

...while Marilyn and I had the curry mee.

Tasted good for a non curry eater like me.

Dinner @ Huat Kee Restaurant, Semenyih
Family dinner today at Huat Kee Restaurant in Semenyih.
If you miss the sign by the road side, you will miss the restaurant.

There is no sign board on the building itself.

The food... Marmite pork ribs

Stir fried french bean.

Deep fried fish with cucumbers, onions and red chillies.

Overall, it was worth the long drive to Semenyih.

Dinner @ Look Out Point Restaurant, Bandar Mahkota Cheras
My weekly family dinner this week was at Look Out Point Restaurant in Bandar Mahkota Cheras.
This is the 2nd Look Out restaurant, the first is located at Hulu Langat-Ampang. Read recent blog Lookout Point Restaurant @ Bandar Mahkota Cheras. They just opened for business yesterday (9.8.2009 / Sunday).

We had hotplate BBQ Chicken, Lamb chop, hotplate BBQ Lamb Chop and Fish & Chips. The food was not too bad. Not all the dishes on the menu were available on the first day.
For 4 main dishes at RM80 plus drinks, this won't be the dining place we would patron often.
