Form to maintain contribution of employees’ share at 11% is now available The statutory contribution rate of employees’ share will be reduced at 3% from 11% to 8%, effective from January 2009 wage (February 2009 contribution) to December 2010 wage (January 2011 contribution). Members who wish to maintain the contribution rate at 11% may choose to do so by filling up the forms below, now available at all EPF Offices or downloaded from this website. 1. Individual application through: Form KWSP 17A (AHL) – Khas OR 2. Bulk application through: Form KWSP 17AA (AHL) – Khas Requirements when filling in the forms: (a) The forms are only applicable for members who wish to increase the contribution rate of employees’ share from 8% to 11% (an increase of contribution rate of 3% only); AND (b) The option made through these forms will be effective until December 2010 wage/salary (January 2011 contribution). Once completed, submit the forms to EPF through members' respective employers. Please refer to Part A and Part B of the Third Schedule of EPF Act 1991 (Amendment) 2008 for the new monthly contributions schedule that will take effect from 1 January 2009 to 31 December 2010. Money changers in the country are facing a shortage of the Australian dollar as the currency continues to go “down under.”

“People don’t want to change the Australian dollar back to ringgit when it is so low,” one money changer told StarBiz.

“When the Australian dollar fell, many people wanted to buy and no one wanted to sell,” another trader said.

Money changers in the country generally do not get their cash from banks but through other money changers....

I wrote an email to Alliance Bank, and got a call from them yesterday afternoon. Their explanation..
... On the (missing) cash deposit machine, it is in booth number 4. It was originally an online internet banking machine, but they have not changed the sign. They will looking it.

I went to the SS2 branch on Monday and yup there is a new sign up on the Cash deposit machine, "Cash Deposit Service" which lists the service for that particular machine.



Well it is this machine, at booth number 4 "alliance online internet banking"
The number 4 booth main sign still shows "alliance online internet banking".

Cash Deposit Machine @ Alliance Bank SS2 (Part 2)

I went to SS2 Alliance Bank today to make payment for a credit card bill. I finally managed to pay the bill using the Cash Deposit machine.

In fact I was there yesterday morning as well, looking for the cash deposit machine and I missed seeing the machine. The cheque deposit machine was out of service (today, it is also out of service)


Well it is this machine, at booth number 4 "alliance online internet banking"... that sign does not say Cash deposit machine. In fact it looks like an ordinary ATM machine.


You will only know if you inspect the machine futher. There is a small sign above the CASH OUT sign, "This machine only accepts RM10, RM50, & RM100notes..."

Press any button on the machine and tadaa, select your transaction.


Next time I will check further in detail and not reply on the too much on the signs.

... On the cheque deposit machine not in service, a cheque got stuck in the machine, hence the machine was rendered out of service. (I wonder if it is the same reason today?)

I can say their customer service is good. They replied my email and also called me. Thank you Alliance Bank for your explanation to a "confused" customer... aarrr I am not an Alliance Bank customer, Marilyn is.

Cash Deposit Machine @ Alliance Bank SS2

Is there a 24hr cash deposit machine at Alliance Bank SS2? In their web site http://www.alliancebank.com.my/branch_selangor.html it is one of the machines available.

Yesterday after work I went to the SS2 branch to deposit payment for my credit card., it was raining cats and dogs, my shoes and pants were soaked. And guess what, there was no cash deposit machine. Is it hidden somewhere. I only saw a cheque deposit machine, 2 ATM and an online web machine.

I decided to make payment this morning. I wrote a cheque. Drove to SS2 before work and ohhh man, I was mad when the cheque deposit machine was not in service. Arrrgggggggg!

Count backwards from 10 to 1. 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1...... breath innnn, breath outttt
