Telekom Phone Lines Activated @ my Office

During the weekend, the contractors came and activated the phone lines via Telekom lines instead of going through VOIP. Hope the all our phone problems will come to an end from today onwards.

By the way I heard our office in Vietnam are using VOIP phone as well. And they have problems with it too, too soft, interference, no line, etc etc... They know which of their phone lines are bad. Even the good one have problems. Hehe..

BN government sensitive to BMC residents needs?

Yesterdays news report on The Star.
http://thestar.com.my/news/story.asp?file=/2008/6/1/nation/21421837&sec=nation

On the Government’s decision to tear down the barrier along the access road between Bandar Mahkota Cheras and Cheras-Kajang Highway, Najib said it was because they were sensitive to the needs of the residents.

“It should not be seen as the Government succumbing to pressure from any party,” he said.

What does Najib means that the government were sensitive to the needs of the residents. After 2 years of insensitivity (closing of the toll free access road) to the residents, nothing was done by BN. Only after the 12th general election when PKR took over the Selangor state government did the, new state government, the PKR did something. Not the BN state nor the Federal government.
