Will Sabah Reduce The Cost To Climb Mount Kinabalu?

Talks on reducing cost to climb Mt Kinabalu
KOTA KINABALU: Sabah is taking steps to make climbing up Mount Kinabalu affordable following an outcry over spiralling cost.

State Tourism, Culture and Environment Minister Datuk Masidi Manjun said they were in discussions with Sutera Sanctuary Lodges (SSL), which provides accommodation at Kinabalu Park, for the firm to offer cheaper packages.

...SSL had been told not to force climbers to take the package and to revise their rates....
