Dale Carnegie: Change
“Keep your mind open to change all the time. Welcome it. Court it. It is only by examining and reexamining your opinions and ideas that you can progress.”
- Dale Carnegie
In approaching a problem in your department, try this method:

In approaching a problem in your department, try this method:
- Call a meeting with those persons who are familiar with this problem. It should include your own staff, of course, but it may be advantageous to invite persons from related areas who can contribute their ideas.
- Let all the participants know the subject to be discussed in advance to the meeting.
- Record all ideas, but do not attempt to analyze them at this time.
- After a period of incubation (anywhere from a half hour to a full day), call the team together, and run another 15 - 30 minute session. Record these new ideas.
- Have the team select three to five of the best ideas.
- Develop that idea.

Bundaberg Root Beer
Andrew C knows that I like Root Beer, so he recommended an Australian Root Beer. Bundaberg Root Beer.
So far I found it only at Cold Storage. It cost RM3.99 at Cold Storage Jaya One. I bought one a few weeks ago to try it. I like, I like... taste nice and not too sweet.
I told Andrew, since it cost more than the A&W Root Beer, I can only budget for a Bundaberg Root Beer, once a month :-) Last Thurday he bought one and gave it to me, I don't have to budget for one this month. I still haven't drank it yet. Thanks Andrew.

Family Trip To Sepang
On labour day last week, my family and I went to Bagan Lalang, Sepang for a night. We stayed in our "holiday" home in Pantai Sepang Putra.
The kids had fun in the plastic swimming pool.
We had dinner at Restoran Bagan Lalang Seaview, Bagan Lalang. You can't really see the sea. I had to cross the road and walk on the beach to catch a bit of the sunset.
There were lots of vehicles and people that evening in Bagan Lalang, due to the 1st May holiday. All the restaurants and eating places were crowded.
Dinner...
(Clockwise, from Top-left) Sweet sour fish which was supposed to be "not" spicy for the kids, but it was; ikan bakar; sotong goreng and kangkung.
One more vegetable dish did not arrive, so we cancelled it.
Breakfast the next day after checking out from our holiday home.
Restoran Sungai Pelek serves dim dum for breakfast only during the weekends.
We headed home after breakfast.
