Melaka: Paradise Melaka Village Resort

Paradise Melaka Village Resort.

Cher Sharon, Marilyn and I used to stay at this resort many many years ago. It was a beautiful resort. If I remembered correctly if was under MBf.

The pictures below show some nice and interesting building designs, but the overall environment of the hotel (or what is left of the hotel) leaves much to be desired.
I heard that Leisure Holidays have 60 units (rooms) in this hotel 'which ceased operations in 2000'. It is only available for Leisure Holiday guests.

The entrance, just a small sign. The Putra International College sign (in blue) is more noticeable. The surrounding looks unkept, empty and a bit spooky.

The car park is not full, plenty of space.

The fountain is not working.

The food counter/bar next to the swiming pool.

The playground. No kids allowed to play here.

The buildings. It is a nice hotel, or it used to be. It still has a bit of its former charm.

The high rise blocks are not occupied, an errie feeling. Curtain left 'blowing in the wind'.Broken roofs and ceiling.

Leaking and dusty. The lift has an 'old' odour in it.

The room toilet, fungus and rotton wood. No shower curtain, part of the curtain rail is missing.

The electric kettle, do you want to use it? We tried to change the kettle, and since there were no phones in the room, we went to the reception. No one around except the security guard. He said the rest has went out for dinner.
Forget about boiling water. Anyway we bought bottled water from Cold Storage Melaka.

The courtyard, outside the room.

The tennis court. Wooden 'rotting' benches at the courtyard.

There are no activities available in this resort, nor any food outlets. The swimming pool looks okay but we did not want to swim in it.

The room: The airconds worked well. There is hot water in the bathrooms. The apartment is quite clean, expect some fungus growing here and there, rotting wood, missing door knobs on the cupboards and kitchen cabinets. Towels provided. Clean bedsheets and pillow cases.

Checked out early the next morning.

Hi szern,

The resort is located in Air Keroh, out of Melaka town.

Coming from the North South highway, Air Keroh toll. Go straight along Leboh Air Keroh. After the Melaka Zoo and Dataran Sejarah on the left, turn left into Jalan Tasik. The resort is after the Putra International College on the right.

You can search for it in Google maps, search for "Putra International College Ayer Keroh, Melaka"

Enjoy your trip and stay in Melaka.
