Restaurant Foon Lock @ Kampung Bukit Tinggi

If you want to try good Chinese food and which is reasonably priced, head towards Bukit Tinggi, Pahang. Last Friday evening, after coming down from Genting, the family and I went to Kampung Bukit Tinggi to have dinner.

We ordered asam fish, claypot tauhu and veggie soup.

If you are there, I recommend the asam fish.

You can buy fresh vegetables and fruits at the various stalls along the road or just outside the many restaurants there. The price of the food, vegetables and fruits are certainly cheaper than up in Gohtong Jaya, Genting.

The price:
RM38 + a pot of chinese tea

The place:
Drive towards Kuantan on the Karak highway (highway E8). You should pass the Genting tunnel and Genting Sempah reast area. Turn off at Selasa Resort and immediate turn right. You will pass under the highway and at the T- junction turn right. Drive all the way in until you see Restaurant Foon Lock on your right. (Click on map below to enlarge)
