The massive jams when the government announced the increase, street protests, price increase in transportation which will eventually pass the cost to consumers... cost of food will increase, other household items too will go up.

With the planned electricity price up next month, all this will affect us the ordinary citizens.
The public transport is not up to standard to allow more people to leave their cars at home and commute by public transport. Imagine, if I take a bus to KL from SL, it takes up to 1 hour. If the traffic jam is bad, it could take more than 1 hour, 1 1/2 hours, 2 perhaps. I would than have to take another bus to PJ or the LRT to PJ than transit bus to my office. 2 hours from home to my office, I think NOT.
And the government is now trying to reduce spending, a bit too late don't you think. They are not being pro-active.

PUTRAJAYA: The entertainment allowances of ministers and deputy ministers will be slashed and their paid holidays will now be limited to local and Asean destinations.
These as well as several other steps, including a freeze on new government posts and assets purchase, would save the Government RM2bil....
