Effects Of Price Hikes

Effects of the recent fuel hikes, and price increase of other goods, reports on The Star, Sunday June 22, 2008.

I don't mind taking public transport to commute to work, but for me it is a sheer waste of time.

Cartoon from http://www.aginform.com/

A 1 hour bus ride to KL from Sg Long, more if the traffic is bad. Hop on another bus from KL to PJ, or take the LRT to PJ and hop on a bus from the LRT station to my office. That would take me 1 1/2 to 2 hours from home in the morning. It is far worst in the evening after work.

Unless there are direct public transportation from Cheras to PJ, Cheras to Ampang, etc... there will still be many people commuting to work in our own cosy private vehicles.

I notice more cars are sticking to the speed limit, maybe at times above the speed limit, but not
excessive speeding. Get more out of your full tank by driving within the speed limit.
