I've noticed this week that the 24 hour Restoran Kadir Maju in 3 Two Square did not open as early usual when I reached the office in the morning. As a matter of fact, it was closed.
This morning I asked one of the 'boss' at the restaurant while they were arranging the tables and chairs after 'opening' the restaurant for the day. Isn't this suppose to be a 24 hour restaurant?
It is now not a 24 hours restaurant. Due to no customers during the grave yard shift, they have decided to open the restaurant from 7AM to 12 midnight (or until there are no more customers)
The reason is that they are located inside the Boulevard area of 3 Two Square, and can't be seen from either side of the main road.
Tough Crowd
3 Two Square is tough on the food business. If the restaurants don't offer good food, than in no time they will close.
The recently closed restaurants here are Embun Cafe, Dim Sum Bright (now under renovation), Home Delight and UFO Steamboat (relocated).
The restaurants doing well here are The Tram Car, Papa Rich, Old Town Kopitiam, Starbucks, Kadir Maju, 3 Two square food court and Nasi Kandar Zulkifli.
Two other restaurants Baguz and Coconut Cafe doesn't seem to be attracting the customers.
