I read this today in Malaysia Kini, the brain drain caught my attention.I know many friends (and friends of friends) and some relatives who have migrated overseas, Australia, Singapore, US, Canada...
Just my 1 cents worth....There are many reasons why people leave the country, better career prospects, of course the money will be better when we convert it back to RM, better education, health benefits, personal, political, spiritual... many many many reasons... For families, we want a better future for our children.
So what has Malaysia to offer its citizens, and why are Malaysians willing to leave the country?

The most important asset of a country is not its natural resources, but rather human resources. This is especially true in a knowledge based economy, which of course will be the trend in future if not already the trend in most of the western countries.
