Bandar Mahkota Cheras Link road (Update again)

I used the Bandar Mahkota Cheras access link road from the Kajang Cheras highway just now. The barrier was torn down, but the road is not resurfaced. It took me around 10 minutes to clear the traffic lights, just to enter the access road.

There were some policemen at the site, as a small gathering was held at the area near the traffic lights. Many DAP and PKR flags were seen and big umbrellas. Could be some MP or politician at the site giving a talk or briefing.

Former Mentri Besar Datuk Seri Dr Mohamad Khir Toyo said when the road was first opened in 2005 the concessionaire had asked for RM200mil in compensation for loss of toll collection based on the formula in the concession agreement.
“That is why we decided that the toll-free access road should be closed as it would be unfair to use taxpayers money to pay such a huge sum,” he said at a press conference.

1. Why the previous state government and local government can give permit to Developer “Narajaya” to have sales launching from 1997 -2003.; and the road it is build on 2003. On that moment, if as the Former Menteri Besar Selangor Datuk Seri Dr Mohamad Khir Toyo give the court order from state government to publish to gazette /newspaper to all Malaysia let the people on that moment to know that the road it is illegal. And the road now already been build and say the road it is illegal. The entire document from previous Selangor Town Planning Department, Local Council (MPKJ), Kerajaan Negeri Selangor been audit the development whether it is approved? Narajaya, is licensed developer; and who give the right to this developer can launching the project and state the main access road it is toll-free. And all the advertisement also been published ; not only that radio also been broadcast where the road it is toll-free, can conveniently access major highways as well as neighborhoods in a shorter time frame where this main access road via Cheras Perdana / Tun Hussein Onn as state by advertisement.. And now, Former Menteri Besar Selangor Datuk Seri Dr Mohamad Khir Toyo says “they have to pay compensation”. Why happen like that? The State Government, Local Council (MPKJ) and Ministry Of Housing are check and monitor all the advertisement term.

Who are induced the fault? Are the fault is Bandar Mahkota Resident? They are all rational house buyer where they purchase their property. All of Bandar Mahkota Resident purchase their property are from their hard earning money. They are all middle-income people. Government always says “Compare the price of product and if the product has the problem; call the government they will help to solve the problem”. House or property is also the product. How can Former Mentri Besar Datuk Seri Dr Mohamad Khir Toyo say “That is why we decided that the toll-free access road should be closed as it would be unfair to use taxpayer’s money to pay such a huge sum?” As a leader, have the problem have to face it and to remedy the problem as soon as possible

At the last, similar as the former Minister of Works Dato' Seri S Samy Vellu as been state that the road it is illegal and all the road need approved from him.If like that where the road it is illegal why don’t from beginning give court order or court injunction to the developer (Narajaya) to stop built the road and publish to all newspaper to all Malaysian where the road it is illegal. And now the road is already complete and tell us the road it is illegal. Where the house buyers are notice from the beginning and knew that the road it is unapproved and illegal. And who fault it is?
